About Me:

I was born in Iowa City and grew up in Colorado Springs. I came to North Carolina for school and met my wife and stepson. We have planted roots in Salisbury, NC, but we like to travel as much as possible.

Why Dentistry?

I chose dentistry because I love my family, and I get to work with them closely in this field. I also love that it’s easy to see the difference that we make in people’s lives through exceptional dentistry.

When our patients leave our office, I know that we have helped that child’s self-esteem, provided valuable education, and removed any dental pain that can significantly impact their everyday lives. I think fixing cavities would be rewarding enough, but the bigger picture makes this truly meaningful work.

Best Part of My Job:

Every single day I get to see the smiling faces of our patients and the love that our team gives them.

Outside of the Office:

My favorite times of the year are when I’m traveling with my family. We spend a lot of time at ice rinks all over, because our son, Axyle, plays travel hockey and is completely obsessed. He also plays baseball, is learning karate, and has a busy school schedule, so parenting is a massive part of my life outside of the office.

My wife, Tiffany, and I like to unwind to bad TV shows at the end of our day. We also like to assign each other random research assignments, and then teach each other about what we learned at the end of the week.

Why Dentistry?

I educate the public how to properly brush while assisting the dentist in fixing a little one’s teeth, so that they will be healthy and strong.

Best Part of My Job:

I also like to travel, try new things, and spend time with the ones that mean the most to me.
